AMP’s Impact Factor rises three times in two years

According to the results disclosed yesterday 29-07, 2013, by Thomson Reuters, Acta Médica Portuguesa had their Impact Factor raised to 0,281 in year 2013.

The figures announced by Journal Citation Reports® correspond to the number of all the citations in 2012 and 2013 of the journal’s articles, divided by the number of AMP’s articles published in those two years. 

Since the start of his mandate back in June 2011, Editor-in-Chief Rui Tato Marinho has been leading a deep restructuring of the team and the editorial process – with the expressive results that are now visible (see figure with the evolution of AMP’s Impact Factor since 2011).
