The authors present their clinical experience of leg and foot reconstruction with 227 clinical cases. Based on these cases the authors analyse the use of 18 musculocutaneous, 53 axial, 72 septocutaneous and 84 free flaps, totalling 29 different kinds of flaps performed. Although no definitive conclusions can be drawn about which are the best flaps for foot and leg reconstruction, the preferential options are pointed out.Downloads
