Current concepts in maxillo-facial surgery.

The authors make a brief and concise overview of the evolution of maxillofacial surgery over the last decades namely the concepts and methods used. Some case reports are presented which illustrate the application of the current methodology with the purpose of covering various fields of application (traumatologic, othognatic and tumoural). The need for an interdisciplinary assessment of these patients is discussed.Downloads
