The health care attitude has been changing over the last years. From just comforting the patient and treating the illness, the winds are blowing toward prevention and, more recently, to promote health as a goal. The changing philosophy must have consequences in Education of Health professionals, namely in Nursing. The authors made an inquiry to third year nurse students of a school in Lisbon, asking them to rate both the importance of several statements about Health care and Education and how they felt their nurse educational curriculum reflected those statements. The greatest differences were found on the statements concerning the changing attitude toward Health care and Education.Downloads
