Sarcoidosis of the central nervous system and skeletal muscles.

Os autores descrevem um caso de sarcoidose que se apresentou como uma meningite subaguda de evolução arrastada, durante alguns meses, envolvendo vários pares cranianos e sem outras localizações aparentes. O diagnóstico foi feito por biopsia muscular e a resposta aos corticoides foi boa. A doente veio a falecer 7 anos depois com um hematoma intracerebral na sequência de uma terapêutica com anticoagulantes por embolia pulmonar. São referidos os achados da autópsia.
