The solar radiation spectrum and the properties of its components are studied in the present paper. The history of the sun rays before reaching earth surface is analysed. A simplified analysis of the interaction mechanisms of these components with molecules, the energy absorption capabilities of the latter and the expected biological consequences are considered. Special emphasis are given to the properties of ultra-violet and infra-red radiations and their production considered.Downloads
