Radiological aspects of solitary tumorous lesions of the bones.

Os autores passam em revista alguns dos elementos da semiologia radiológica das lesões ósseas solitárias como seja a osteólise e osteoesclerose, a limitação das lesões, o adelgaçamento e a expansão das corticais, os vários tipos de reacção periostal, a mineralização da matriz tumoral e as anormalidades das partes moles adjacentes às lesões. Estes sinais radiológicos quando correctamente interpretados e valorizados, constituem um contributo para a determinação do grau de agressividade do processo patológico em estudo e portanto para o seu diagnóstico. Documentam aqueles sinais, mostrando alguns exemplos, todos comprovados por exame histopatológico.
