Após enunciar os problemas que acompanham a Hemiplegia, salientam-se alguns aspectos de actuação do enfermeiro de reabilitação — reeducação motora, alterações esfincterianas e ensino ao doente e familiares -. Sobre o primeiro aspecto — reeducação motora — poem-se em equação os objectivos do Método Clássico e do Método de Margarei Johnstone, tentando tirar as ilacções em relação a acção do enfermeiro de reabilitação num e noutro método. Realça-se também, o valor de trabalho em equipa.
