Complete auriculo-ventricular block during therapy with carbamazepine.

The authors describe the case of a complete AV block probably induced by carbamazepine. They also review cases described in the literature and suggest some preventive measures before beginning therapy with carbamazepine, mainly in patients over sixty-five years of age, with or without known cardiovascular pathology.Downloads
